Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IATA: IKA, ICAO: OIIE), also known as Tehran Airport or Tehran IKIA, or simply IKIA, is the main international airport in Tehran, Iran. The airport is located 30 km southwest of Tehran city centre, near the localities of Robat-Karim and Eslamshahr.It’s one of the busiest cargo and passenger airports in the region. The airport has several facilities and services to all passengers that need it or request it. It is available: Bank and ATMs services, Currency Exchange, Emergency Lounge, Escalators, Prayer Rooms, Phone, Duty-Free Shops (no alcohol), Coffe shops, Food and Beverages from Iran and a Restaurant with a traditional iranian food, Mobile Charger, Free Wi-Fi, among others. There is also a CIP lounge for Premium Passengers.

Transport
- Bus and Metro: There’s a bus which goes to Haram Metro station. Departs every 30 minutes (during the night departs when it’s full or almost full) and it takes 20 minutes to arrive to the station. Bus stop is in the exit gate of the terminal.
- Metro Line 1: the extension to the southern part is under construction.
- Metro Line 3: It’s planned to connect it with the airport during next years.
-Taxi: Pick up a taxi is the recommended option. At the airport, please, make sure that you are going to pick up a licensed taxis. Travel time to the city center is about 90 minutes (depending on traffic). Taxicabs have established rates to go and come back to IKA airport. The waiting area is outside Terminal. You can request one calling to Teherán Taxi Company (1828 license number) or Imam Jomeini (1833).
Main Airlines
Tehran airport currently serves as a hub for Iran Air and Mahan Air. Is also a home base of Meraj Airlines, Qeshm Airlines, Iran Aseman Airlines, Zagros Airlines and Taban Air.
Shuttle Buses
Shuttle buses link Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport to the nearest metro station and also with the domestic airport: Mehrabad International Airport, which is within the city boundary.
