INTRODUCING THE NEW BRITISH AIRWAYS FIRST CABIN  
 

 From February 2010 your customers are able to enjoy an enhanced travel  experience when travelling in our new First cabin.  

Taking on your customers' feedback, we've carefully considered every detail  to make their travel experience even more memorable and unique. From a  dedicated check-in area and fast tracking at the airport to luxurious lounges  and fine dining, we’re making sure everything meets our meticulous standards.   

The new cabin has been redesigned to create a sophisticated environment,  epitomising understated elegance and contemporary British style. Every suite  offers your customers an exclusive space with a balanced privacy to help them  feel at home when working, dining or simply relaxing.  

The distinctive lighting system subtly recreates the quality of natural light  throughout the day and the unique personal windows with electronic blinds  are a first for a commercial aircraft. We've added thoughtful and practical  touches, such as a private wardrobe and a new in-flight entertainment screen almost double in size, featuring a USB port and RCA jack.

But of course, there is more to discover when travelling in new First. On-board elegance

Your First suite is a haven of style and comfort where sophisticated and contemporary British design meet impeccable service and attention to detail. Whether you want to unwind or get down to business, you'll find you're equally well equipped:
 
whenever you want some rest we'll turn your seat into a 198cm (6ft 6in) fully flat bed with a luxurious quilted mattress, crisp white cotton duvet and pillow while you slip into a pair of our wonderfully soft cotton pyjamas
feel revived and refreshed during your flight with the new exclusive Liberty London amenity kit designed exclusively for First, containing selected Aromatherapy Associates essentials.*
your suite includes a personal power supply for laptops and electronic devices - guide-to-in-seat-power (pdf, 181kb, English only)
so that you can be prepared for your journey please be advised that a few aircraft may require the use of an inflight adaptor. Adaptors may not always be available on-board for purchase
 
*The new Liberty London amenity kit will be introduced on flights between London Heathrow and Los Angeles on 7 January 2017, and will then be rolled out across the rest of the First network by the end of Spring 2017.

Specifically designed for the 787-9, our premium cabin has just eight seats, compared to the usual 14. It also features a larger screen on which to enjoy the latest films and TV programmes, as well as a new touchscreen handset.

You're also invited to the Concorde Room - our most luxurious lounge, exclusive to London Heathrow Terminal 5 and New York JFK Terminal 7, with discreet booths, full waiter service, private cabanas and a state-of-the-art business suite.
On arrival into London Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5, step off the plane and into the Arrivals lounge to freshen up and get ready for the day ahead. Facilities include more delicious dining options, showers and a clothes-pressing service.

More baggage than you can carry

With First you can travel as light - or as heavy - as you like, thanks to our ample baggage allowance which includes one cabin bag plus a laptop or handbag on board and up to three bags in the hold.
From your doorstep to your destination
Let AirPortr pick up your bags from your London location and check them in for your flight with the AirPortr + Bag Check-In service, exclusive to British Airways customers. Available for the wider London area and flights departing from Heathrow and Gatwick, except flights within the UK.

The First Wing
Exclusive to London Heathrow Terminal 5, The First Wing helps you speed up the process through the airport and maximise moments of comfort, relaxation and indulgence. The dedicated space offers an enhanced, private check-in area, two exclusive security lanes, and a direct walkway that leads seamlessly into the Galleries First Lounge and then the Concorde Room. It is available if you're travelling in First, are an Executive Club Gold or a oneworld Emerald member.
